How To Use Your Two way Zip

When mounting or dismounting in your EQUIDRY coat, fully open the side zips and unzip the front to naval height. Always unzip before sitting or bending to avoid pressure on the zip.

How To Clean Your Zip

Over time, your zip may become stiff due to a build up of dirt on the teeth and inside the zipper. For day-to-day zip cleaning, use a pin, a clean brush, or even a hoover to remove dried mud or grit. If the zip has been exposed to large amounts of mud, your EQUIDRY may benefit from a machine wash.

Never force the slider because you are likely to break it.

Machine Washing Instructions

Run your washing machine on a hot cycle with nothing in it and check that the detergent tray is clean. This gets rid of any detergent left from previous washes, which work against your garment's waterproofing.

Before washing, remove as much excess dirt as possible. To remove dried mud, use a clean brush or damp cloth. For stubborn stains, apply some undiluted Granger's Performance Wash directly on to the garment.

Fasten all zips and velcro, then place in the machine.

If washing large items, such as an EQUIDRY Oversized Coat, you must use a full bottle of Granger's Performance Wash. Shake the bottle and pour 100ml of the liquid into the washing machine drawer.

If washing smaller items, such as Jackets or Zip-Ups, only use 25ml of Performance Wash per item. Please note, only a maximum of two garments should be placed in the machine at any one time.

Wash on a full cycle at 30°C/86°F, unless otherwise stated on the care label instructions.

We recommend spinning your coat twice to remove all excess water before hanging it on a clothes hanger to drip dry, ideally over a shower or bath. Avoid hanging the coat by its hood or inner hanging loop, as this may cause damage. While the garment is still damp, you can apply Granger’s Repel Plus to restore the garments waterproof protection, and a bit of silicon spray on the zip to finish loosening it up.
