FAQ

How long does embroidery take?

Embroidery on any exercise sheet, blanket or dog coat can take up to 10 working days, in addition to normal packing and handling time.

How should I wash and dry my personalised horse or dog rug?

For everyday cleaning, a quick wipe with a damp cloth or a rinse with a hose will usually do the trick. For greasy spots, gently blot with diluted mild dishwashing liquid - never scrub, as this can damage embroidery. When a deeper clean is needed, machine wash on a gentle 30°C cycle with Grangers Performance Wash and avoid fabric softeners. Do not dry clean or use hot water.

Always air dry flat or hanging in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not tumble dry or air in sun-lit areas, as this can fade colours and weaken waterproofing. Once fully dry, reapply a Grangers Performance Repel Plus waterproofing spray to keep your rug performing at its best.

Will personalising my item void my warranty?

We understand you may wish to personalise your EQUIDRY product, but doing so will void your claim under warranty. You must ensure your items are free from any defects and flaws prior to any customisation.

What happens if my personalised item gets damaged?

When you’re busy with horses, we recognise that accidents can and do happen. Although not covered under warranty, missing zip teeth, tears, rips or other damage to your EQUIDRY product can be serviced through our repairs department for a reasonable cost.

We will always do our best to arrange for someone to repair them to working condition, however if we are unable to, we will notify you and discuss options.

Does my item need to be clean and dry before returning?

Yes. Due to the Health & Safety at Work Act 1972, we cannot accept returns of wet or dirty products.

For us to service your claim, your item must be cleaned before it arrives for the protection of our staff and in accordance with Health & Safety at Work Act 1972. Any product that arrives wet or unclean will be sent away and subjected to a cleaning fee of £35 - £55 before inspections can be made, which will also delay the processing of your claim. The cost of this will be passed on to you, the customer.

Repair Vs. Replacement

If an EQUIDRY product fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the item at our expense. We prefer to repair our products rather than replace due to the impact waste textiles have on our planet. If the product is not repairable, at our discretion, we may choose to replace the product instead.
